The PMI- CAPM—or Certified Associate in Project Management—certification is designed to help candidates learn the skills necessary for entry-level project management positions. It can be the first stepping stone to a career in the field.

What is the CAPM certification?
The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification is a credential designed to prepare candidates for entry-level project management positions. It is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a leading worldwide organization in project management.

  1. The CAPM® Exam Prep Course is designed as an interactive, self-paced digital learning experience. The course includes interactivemodules, knowledge checks, and practice questions.
  2. The CAPM® Exam Prep Course is PMI’s official 23-hour exam preparation program and is structured around the CAPM Exam Content Outline (ECO). The learning experience combines instructional content, scenario-based learning, knowledge checks, practical exercises, and exam-preparation activities. It is not designed to function as a training course. PMI specifically describes the course as an interactive digital learning program that emphasizes decision-making, situational judgment, case-based learning, and practical application of project management concepts.
  3. The course is intended to be a comprehensive self-paced learning experience aligned with the CAPM Exam Content Outline.
In addition to instructional content, the course includes interactive learning elements, knowledge checks, and practice activities designed to develop CAPM-style situational judgment skills.
The course places significant emphasis on applying project management principles and making decisions in realistic project scenarios rather than relying solely on lecture-style instruction.
Learners also receive access to the CAPM® Practice Exam, which can be used to assess exam readiness and reinforce learning.
